CHESS AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Chess and photography
The months leading up to the Olympiad will also have their photography competition - 'Scacco Matto' (Checkmate) - open to both professional and amateur photographers. Participants are asked to present their own take on chess themes.
All photographic techniques and all types of image development will be allowed in this competition, where the winners will be accredited as photographers to the Olympiad. The most significant photos will be included in a book telling the story of the Turin Chess Olympiad.
