Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum of Turin is the most important in the world after the Cairo one but it is the fist one to be building up. The Drovetti collection exhibited right there is the biggest collection (more than 30.000 pieces) about the Pharaons everyday life.

La GAM (Galleria d'Arte Moderna)

Turin was the first Italian city to promote a public collection of modern art as the main part of its own Civic Museum, which opened in 1863. In 1895 the collections were transferred to a pavilion facing Corso Siccardi, built years earlier for an art exhibition, and remained there until 1942.
