It would of course have been absurd not to include chess teaching and chess information from the array of Scaccomatto events. This aspect is being handled by the Turin Chess Club which will be supplying information on Italian clubs, on the everyday life of the chess world, on beginners and advanced chess lessons. The Club will also be setting up a projection room where enthusiasts can watch videos in which several Grand Masters talk through their matches and explain their thinking about particular positions. Another area will be set aside for play and game analysis by the grand Masters participating in the tournament. This will offer spectators a priceless opportunity to follow the experts' discussion of positions and moves. In another area, visitors will find an extensive display of all the latest chess hardware and software.
